Challenge

Vectrix, manufacturer of the world’s first high-performance, 100% electric, zero emission two-wheeler turned to I-SITE to create a dynamic and ROI-driven front end to their existing corporate site for the US and UK markets. With a focus on a younger, urban audience I-SITE was challenged with designing and developing a flexible portal page that would deliver an exciting experience, increase traffic and drive consumers to take test rides.

Solution

A visually rich and highly functional page that talks to the younger audience and directs users to take a test ride.

Key features of the portal include:

  • YouTube video feed with ability for Vectrix employees to post videos to portal
  • New intro video created by I-SITE
  • Animation of the bike with plug and cable and color switcher feature
  • Rotating News and Events with overlay window that keep consumers up-to-date with the latest product and company developments
  • Take a Test Ride form with zip code locator
  • UK version

Results

Launched in February 2008, the portal page is delivering conversion rates for the test ride significantly above industry average. In the 3 weeks subsequent to launch the videos were watched over 15,000 times.

The I-SITE team is currently working on a full corporate redesign that will incorporate additional tools and multimedia content.
